Trusted Endpoints, included from Duo Essentials, checks whether a device is registered or managed, for example through Microsoft Intune, Jamf or other MDM, before allowing access.
Device health
In Duo Advantage and above, Duo checks the security posture of laptops and phones: operating system version, disk encryption, screen lock, firewall and more. Out-of-date devices can be blocked or warned.
Endpoint protection checks
Duo Premier can require that endpoint protection such as Cisco Secure Endpoint or Sophos Intercept X is present and running.
