Duo SSO is a cloud identity provider. Users authenticate once with their primary credentials and Duo, then access SAML and OIDC applications from a central portal. Duo can use Active Directory, Entra ID, Google or Duo Directory as the source of identity.

Do we need Duo SSO if we already use Entra ID?
Not necessarily. Duo can add MFA and device policy to Entra ID without being the SSO provider. We will recommend the simplest design.
